Missions Ministry
My experience in missions ministry has come through multiple avenues. I have been a participant on numerous international and domestic trips throughout my life. Over the last 7 years, I have coordinated, planned, and led multiple short-term trips to Lesotho and South Africa to share the Gospel, aide in food distributions, and provide care and training in orphanages. I have been privileged to teach english in Hungary, aide in disaster relief in Houston, build homes in Guatemala, minister to homeless and refugee populations in Fort Worth and across the U.S., and paint a mural for a special needs school in Northern Africa.
I have extensive in-country experience as I served for two consecutive summers and the spring of 2020 as a hands- on missionary in Lesotho, Africa, during which time I worked with full-time IMB and IMB-partner missionaries to lead a nation-wide discipleship conference, led discipleship trainings, helped facilitate short-term teams, and aided in daily ministry activities. I have organized a widely successful church-wide missions fair to highlight the various mission opportunities of our church and organized an array of fundraising opportunities to fund trips and provide aide to various organizations. My experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set vital for missions and outreach ministry.
